Macrodyne’s President, Kevin Fernandes, will present “TRÜ Servo™ Press: The Ability to Pass the Drawing Ratio” in Track 2: Manufacturing, one of 20 technical presentations at the event.
The TRÜ Servo™ Press, powered by Macrodyne’s TRÜ Drive™ system, redefines the limits of deep drawing with its direct servo-driven screw mechanics and proprietary Deepest Draw™ software. This cutting-edge technology enables manufacturers to exceed conventional drawing ratio constraints, achieving draw depths up to 80% greater than traditional methods.
Unlike conventional hydraulic or mechanical presses, the TRÜ Servo™ Press delivers 100% controllable force throughout the stroke, offering unmatched process flexibility and material flow precision. Key innovations include synchronized ram-cushion motion for extended forming limits, high-frequency oscillation to reduce friction and improve drawability, and a fully servo-driven system that eliminates hydraulic oil, reducing maintenance and enabling cleanroom manufacturing.
