Dishing Presses
Industrial Hydraulic and Servo Dishing Presses
Engineered for superior part quality, higher productivity and greater efficiency.
Dishing presses are purpose-built for forming dish heads and tank bottoms, parts where accuracy and strength can’t be compromised. With a Macrodyne system, you get consistent dimensional accuracy and superior surface quality across every production run.
Your press can be designed for a wide range of tonnages and bed sizes, with the flexibility to handle hot or cold steel and other metal alloys. That means the capacity to form hemispherical heads with larger diameters and wall thicknesses, all tailored to your application.
To support higher output, each press is equipped with heavy-duty cylinders and optimized hydraulics. This combination delivers faster pressing speeds, tighter tonnage control and stronger forming pressure, ensuring maximum productivity.
For even greater efficiency, integrated manipulators can automate the sequential movement of blanks. With centralized controls, the entire forming operation is programmable and repeatable, giving you precision and reliability at scale.

What is a Dishing Press?
A dishing press is a specialized press designed to create dish-shaped metal components from flat metal blanks. The process involves placing a blank into the press, where it is formed between a punch and die under enormous hydraulic pressure.
Custom Dishing Form Solutions
Get enhanced capabilities with a custom Macrodyne dishing press, engineered for your specific application.
Our hydraulic and servo dishing presses feature a rigid press structure optimized through finite element analysis (FEA) to increase part quality consistency through minimal deflection of the press frame and dies.
Dishing form presses also come equipped with a control manifold complete with proportional pressure, position, and flow control valves to allow fully programmable motion and tonnage control for the punch cylinder and clamp slide.
The operator control station includes all necessary pushbuttons, pilot lights and selector switches, plus an E-stop push button and an HMI touch screen.
